Project manager and event leaders for Discord project

The Student Initiative Grant is looking for three students to lead and organize activities on Discord.

The Norwegian Parliament granted funding to give students, associations, and educational institutions a real boost earlier this year. The project group is looking for students who can contribute in leading and organizing activities on the digital platform Discord with these funds. The Student Initiative Grant is a temporary grant arrangement that supports student driven projects and creates work opportunities for students.

Who are you?

The Student Initiative Grant is looking for someone who has experience with participating in activities on digital platforms, especially Discord, and preferably also experience in creating and leading these sorts of activities. As well as contributing to creating more digital activities for student, the job will also entail some simple administrative and financing tasks. A personal interest for online culture will be a big plus. We need someone who is both creative, independent, and not afraid to be the center of attention.

We are looking for a project manager and two event leaders. The project manager's tasks will include coordinating the project with cooperating parties and management of the project in general, whereas the event leaders will mainly create and lead events on Discord.

You have to be an active student in the year 2021 and attend one of the Oslo higher education institutions. Because of the situation related to the corona virus most of the work will be done from home in this position, which implies that you have to have access to your own PC and a Wi-Fi you can use. These will be ca 20% positions that start from week 38 and ends at new year.
